04Text messages and consent
By providing your number, you agree to receive text messages from Space Braids 4 regarding appointments and promotions. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help.
SMS consent is never a condition of booking an appointment, and it is never shared with third parties or sold. You can withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP or by telling us in person.
05Payments and deposits
A $30 deposit is taken to confirm an appointment. Deposits and balances are processed through our booking and payment providers. We do not store your full card number, expiry date or security code on this website or on our own systems — those details are handled directly by the payment processor.
06Photographs of your hair
We sometimes photograph completed styles for our website and social media. We ask for your permission before taking a photograph that will be published, and you are free to decline — it will never affect your service or your price.
If a photograph of you is already published and you would like it removed, email spacebraids4@gmail.com and we will take it down promptly.
09How long we keep your information
We keep enquiry messages for as long as needed to answer them and for a reasonable period afterwards. Appointment and payment records are kept for as long as required for our accounting and tax obligations. After that, information is deleted or anonymised.
10Your rights
You may ask us at any time to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it if it is wrong, or to delete it where we are not required to keep it.

11Children's privacy
We braid children's hair, and appointments for children are always booked by a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information online directly from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information directly, contact us and we will delete it.

This website is served over HTTPS and we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information we hold. No system can be guaranteed completely secure, so please do not send sensitive information such as card numbers by email or text message.
